Problems with "around the world" Maps

I have trouble getting it to work when I am not logged in.

The map is showing when I am logged in, but as soon as I log out, the map is just blank, I can see the navigation buttons and the google logo, but nothing else.

I have a few photos that I have tagged from different albums, I have made sure that the albums are public available.

Site-wide settings are set to:
Hello World : Yes
Hello Smuggers : Yes Discover- Me

Hi,

There's a current issue that we are aware of where if no caption has been set for an image, the map/pin will not show for visitors. I've added a test caption to one of your image and now the pin does show.

Also, we suggestion you get a google map key for your custom domain.

I'm in the same situation and posted a thread about it yesterday, not realizing this one was here. I did get a key from Google, and I have captions on the images I labelled with a location/address. Still nothing shows up, so I just hid the map and left it alone.

Even though technically speaking it should work without captions, it did motivate me to actually captionize it. I guess I get stuck on keywords and forget about captions.

Can you give us the link to a photo that you mapped? We need the link to a specific photo.
Also check that your gallery has 'hello smuggers' set to yes and that the gallery isn't unlisted or password protected.
