Original thumbnails on homepage, square in galleries?

As the title says.. is this possible? I've got my galleries set up as original thumbnails to provide for the clean, vertical look on my homepage (see kurtbudde.smugmug.com), but I'd like to change the thumbnails actually IN the galleries to square, to provide a nice, clean look there as well.

Or, on a side note, I'd like to keep the original thumbs in the galleries, but change their.. orientation to each other? Make them closer, fit together like a puzzle. Is that a possibility?

Sounds like a pain, but I'm not opposed to whatever it takes.

I don't believe there is any way to have the original thumbs in one place and square thumbs in another - there is only one set of thumbs.

I seem to be in the minority here, but I actually prefer the look of the original thumbs...

I noticed that you have a blog that has a very different look than your smugmug site. The blog looks new in that I only see one entry there.
