Clearly this one needs to go to Kodak - at least to the POTD site.

This is a very good shot. With a little PP TLC, this could approach great.
Both versions are a little dark and would be improved by bring up the mid-tones a bit - a simple levels or curves adjustment - 20 seconds at most.
The color version has a color cast to it - seems like the skin tones are bit magenta.

Kodak Picture of the Day (http://http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=2549&pq-locale=en_US&CID=go&idhbx=potd), gets displayed in Times Square if chosen!

Hmmm, after looking at it here I'm thinking it might need to be toned down a little or maybe just having the two together makes it seem too bright.

I don't know folks...I like the color shift. I think it gives a more realistic old feel, but puts it in that 70s genre when we all had the Kodaks with the carousel flashes. The photo looks like it aged. I might just leave it the way it is! I had a viseral reaction and just smiled as soon as I saw it.

I too prefer it to all the others so far, but I welcome the edits.
I just like the feel & colors on his face.
