This is Antietam National Battlefield in Sharpsburg, Maryland. It's one of my favorite places to photograph.

My infrareds are done using a Sony F717, set to night shot with a Hoya R72 IR filter and a Hoya ND8 filter. This particular image was processed in Photoshop and then converted to black and white.

I have many more on my website.

Good work. I like the composition, the fine detail and contrast, and you did a good job with the B&W conversion.:thumb

This is the main reason why I miss my Sony F717. Great camera for creative infrared shots.

Thanks for sharing! :clap

Thanks guys. I do wish that I had a modified dslr, however this camera is wonderful, if not unique, for infrared.

Howdy,

Great shot, love the details in the picket fences and the road leading you through the image.

Gotta love the 717 and IR, it was what got me "Hooked on IR".

Very nice Post Processing to achieve the nice B&W.

Thanks. I kind of stumbled on the b&w conversion by accident. It doesn't work for all images, but for those it does, it seems to really work.
