Winger,
You amaze me with the number of opportunites you get. Awesome shots,
differing venues and fun stuff to shoot.
Only comment is that numero dos could use a horizon level.
I wish I had half the opportunity you've shown us this season!
Thanks,
Ian

Its funny too cause this opportunity found me. I was just shooting stuff for fun when the media relations guy approached me. But looking at my photos from the fall I can see how far I have progressed.
I am also trying to do more with photo shop. I realise playing with levels, and contrast isnt really cheating since you can do that in a dark room too.
The first photo I tried to desaturate the parts that were not important, that press both at the top is actually maroon. I dont know how to clean up the parts I couldnt get close, so I figured I would leave it all mess, its consistant and it draws even more attention that hey you need to look at the stuff in color.
And I see the horizon thing on the softball team. Everytime I shoot a team photo I learn something new. This one I learned NO HATS, and make sure the coaches are unison as much as the players. (Usually I dont have to worry about the coaches......)

I am a firm believer in good things come to those who wait. Not that you
shouldn't sometimes push things along.
I like seeing your posts because they do demonstrate change. And a little
selfish cause there's not much College Hockey here :)
Over time, I've come to look forward to your posts because they'll likely
be new and improved. You've come a long way! Congrats!

Thanks I appreciate that comment. Funny for a while I didnt think anybody enjoyed my sports photos....
The team photos I think are more challenging than the action. I mean I try to set up a great photo but also try to do it involving the athletes as little as possible, they are students (like me) and have other things to be doing.
But for the first time I am pleased with a team photo (LAX) and almost pleased with softball.....one more left for the baseball team, and that is the end of the season.
They are all going to be wearing their hats though :(
