Skippy, after a 15 hour flight from down under arrived at April's house in preparation for the Digital Grin shoot out. While April was finishing up work for her employer I had the privilege of escorting our Australian guest around for two days.

We had a whirl wind tour of the new California Academy of Science, (from opening until closing) Palace of Fine Arts, (still under renovations with scaffolding), Crissy Field, Pigeon Point Light House, Bean Hollow, the Santa Cruz Wharf, and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.

Here are a few photos of Skippy!

Howdy Sam,

Great shots, it looks like ya'll had beautiful weather and lots of great sites to see and shoot.

Was she shooting her new IR Modded Camera? I can't wait to see what she comes up with.

Kindest Regards,

Craig

In case Skippy cannot access (she travels today), and hopefully that is the same backpack as last year - it is a Lowepro. I have the Lowepro Computrekker AW, and skippy's is the next size smaller. She is several inches shorter than me so it is perfect for her size. They are really great and comfy, durable bags.

Hey Ann,

Thank you for the info. I have 3 Loweprows myself, Slingshot 200 & 300 and a full size Vertex 300 AW killer model but I like the look of that unit with the tripod on the back like that. The Vertex 300 is wicked comfortable with a 45+ lbs loaded into it. :thumb

Awful scenery, wonderul lady though... :barb

Joking of course Sam. You have some marvellous countryside around you and the scenery is awesome (not like my home town, dull, cowdy, ugly)... and with the bonus of Maxine as well - that's great!

Good to see you so mobile Maxine, hope all is well.

Sam, thanks for sharing too.

Paul.

The Computrekker has that little tripod diaper too.
