For the last couple weeks, I've noticed many videos across the site, especially HD videos, download kinda herky jerky. Meaning, everything's cool when you click the video. You'll wait a couple seconds for the vid to buffer enough to start playing (which is normal, even though that in itself can also be a long wait), then when it finally does buffer enough & play, the download bar will start then stop, start then stop, the whole way through. You can see how annoying that can be having your video run out of buffer a bunch of times during playback.
What's the deal? It's not my connection (8Mbps down). I know the vids are packing a lot of info, but its the erratic behavor that is the problem. My connection is plenty fast enough to receive, you just gotta dish it out.
