Question on customizing galleries

I've had a few complaints that the slideshow button doesn't work on one of my galleries.

I can not reproduce this problem myself.

I had set "Gallery Style" to 'Smugmug' instead of 'Viewer Controlled'.

Does this prevent someone from running the slideshow? I've just changed Gallery Style back to Viewer Controlled.

Is there any special plug-in a user needs for the slideshow to work?

If you want to make sure you get a response from a Smugmug support person, then you should contact them directly via email. See http://www.smugmug.com/help/emailreal for details.

In answer to your question, the Smugmug slideshow uses Adobe Flash and it must be installed before the slideshow will work. Most computers these days already have it installed (for other reasons). I have no idea why it wouldn't work for some of your viewers. It does not matter whether you have viewer controlled set or not. The slideshow is independent of that.
