Green numbers inside camera

The specs inside the viewfinder on the bottom of my Rebel xt are all blurry. Sometimes if i angle the camera down the numbers are CLEAR but at most other times they are blurry. Why?

Does it have a diopter setting on the viewfinder like the Nikon ?

Yes it does. There's a little wheel in the upper right corner of the eyecup - adjust it and you should be fine.
