Hello this was in back of my mind since new homepage slideshow of smugmug came into the scene.

Don't know if it is tried before but i think lots of things can be done to it.

I assume you're talking about the title sequence. It took a long time to load the first time I brought it up (I thought it was broken, actually).

In any case, I like it, FWIW. Makes for a nice "intro".

Love it! :thumb I suppose I could do it by actually taking shots with different focus, or by defocusing a nice shot with PS...

Very nice... you could take the idea in different ways:

Get a color pic. de-saturate all colors. then bring saturation back up, one hue at a time...

Yeah exactly. You can also break a portrait into larger bits of detail.
