New help page question

OK, I've created/re-created the new help pages on my site

If you look closely in IE6/IE7... the spots on the table w/o "X"'s show no lower border... If I add a character to the table the border shows up...

compare mine to the SM one to see it better.... It does not occur on the SM version...

Note: I do tend to run into a few issue while trying to re-create the SM pages, but usually I can figure out a work around...

I can fake it by adding a character set to the background color... but I'd rather figure out the reason for the problem than just adding a band-aid to it...
