I'm going to try on site printing of 4x6's and 8x10's only at a mx event.

What do you put the photo's in to give them to the customer?

I'm looking on clearbags, is it the adhesive strip bags? I'd rather have a ziplock type of bag though where I can slide 1 or 5 photo's in and give to them. Then I suppose I need a bag to put that in to? Where does one get "shopping bags"?

This is only an experimental weekend and I need to order ASAP or find them locally.

Why not just paper document envelopes, which you can find easily at any Office Max or Office Depot? Good luck with it. When I was doing MX I was pretty sure I could increase sales if I at least did on-site previewing and ordering (and then shipped prints later), if not on-site printing.

Thanks Bill for the suggestions.

I don't do on-site event printing but-- to expand on Bill's idea-- even better than plain packaging is packaging with your "brand" on it. Maybe you could have some 8x10 envelopes pre-printed with your "brand"?

Also, the current issue of Professional Photographer (a UK magazine but it's widely available in the USA) has LOADS of info on on-site event printing this month.

Also I would recommend putting a sheet of cardboard/chipboard in the envelope as well, or a stiff envelope, to keep the photo from being bent/damaged.

mounted in card mounts then put into a clear plastic bag - many of the events I do have alcohol so I expect spllage!
