I took my camera out to Don Edwards near my home today. Wanted to test out a old film camera and also get rid of my extra film supply. All pictures were taken with a Canon EOS 3, and either 100-300mm f/5.6 lens or 50mm f/1.4 lens. Film was Kodak UC100 scanned and developed at Costco.

While walking near the shore line I noticed that the ground would move when I moved. After closer inspection I found the ground covered by thousands of flys. Funny thing is they only would fly away when I moved, when I stopped they stopped.

The only decent bird shot I got, even this was with 300mm. I did see other birds around but I couldn't get close enough.

Small lizard with a fat tail. Stood still just long enough for me to take a picture.

I was using the 50mm f/1.4 lens for this shot and just liked the DOF look.

This bird was across the creek but couldn't get closer because of the high reeds.

Two geese, a few resting on the mud banks.

My best birding shot! I'll need to find one now without the strings. :rofl

These are the bridges are the path ways across the creeks and mud banks.
