I'm trying to set up a seperate gallery for friends & familly that can be accessed from the navbar yet require a password to be viewed. I've read some threads that kind of sound like what I'm looking for but I must be doing something wrong because it hasn't worked for me.:dunno Can anyone help?

Set the gallery to unlisted and add password. The nav link would look llike
this. It will take you to the password input page.

<li><a href="/gallery_xxxxxxxx_xxxxx">passwored gallery</a></li>

I see where your going with this, but I guess I didn't explain it correctly. I think I threw you a curve with the term "Galleries". A better way to explain it might be - I want a particular "Category" to be password protected and linked to the navbar. For example, I have a category named "Personal". Under that category I would like to create several galleries of different events. Does that make more sense?

****Never mind Al, I just saw a thread you posted not too long ago indicating that it isn't possible to password protect a category. Thanks anyway. But if you have any thoughts on how I could achieve what I'm trying to do, I'm all ears.
