Hi Folks,
Nearly completed my site and very thankful for all the help to date!

http://ashepp.smugmug.com

The final piece I'm struggling with is how best to organize my 'My Photos' page.

I have all my photos stored by year and shoot using Year as Category and Album for the shoot.
These are all currently locked with a password

In addition I've created a separate 'Portfolio' category where I've created separate albums (including some dupes from the superset above).

My goal is to just show the portfolio albums on the 'Your Photos' page but still provide a way for friends and family to see all of my pictures (just don't want all that clutter to be shown on the main page with all the portfolio albums)

Can anyone provide some suggestions ?

Thanks
Adam.

Do any of the locked year categories have sub-cats? If they just contain
galleries create a new category with the years as sub-cats. The new cat
can be hidden form your galleries/categories box with some javascript. Then
a direct link to the new category will display all the year sub-cats.

If you think this will work holler back and we'll supply the javascript.

If they contain sub-cats you'll need another level. You could create an unlisted
gallery like this one (http://allen-steve.smugmug.com/gallery/3539056) for the years. Each year would be your current
category link. Then all these categories would be hidden by the js.
