Hello,

I customized my smugmug page, but slideshow doesn't work with firefox.

By the way do you know if it is possible to make the slishow button bigger in each gallery ?

Thank you for your help

Usually when it doesn't show in Firefox external links are not on in the source gallery.

I just tested your homepage using Firefox v3.0.1 and I am able to see your slideshow gallery of Bali.

(on a related note - here's my new gallery of Bali (http://chrisdg.smugmug.com/photos/swfpopup.mg?AlbumID=5050023&AlbumKey=BkG4U)as well)

Good news.

I use the same version of firefox and i still cannot see the slideshow, I don't know why, but if I am the only one to have this problem, it doesn't matter.

Thank you for your test

Hi!

I can't see the slideshow either. I tested on the following url: http://www.edouardsteru.com/gallery/5832827_MkihR/1/361739800_uubB2

I tried to see a slideshow from another user with the same result: http://cmac.smugmug.com/date/2008-02-01/2008-02-29/1/251228846_aWM7d

I'm on Firefox 3.0.3 on MacOS X 10.5.5. In Safari 3.1.2 the slideshows works just fine.

Are there any known issues with Smugmug slideshows on Firefox?

No, but if you have Adblock it could be hosed. :ear

Thanks for answering!

I have Adblock Plus installed and when I disabled from the toolbar by clicking the arrow on the right side of the adblock "button" and uncheck "enable adblock", it did not help.

BUT... when I selected Tools->Add-ons and diasabled Adblock plus it did help. Then the slideshow showed up.

I bit strange that the first try did not help since I would think that should disable Adblock plus.

Ok! Thanks for looking into this issue and maybe fix it in a future release of Smugmug!

Any updates on this yet Andy? Given that every other flash-based site or video player I use works fine with FF3.x + Adblock+, Smugmug is the only one that doesn't.

I tried adding adblock+ exceptions for smugmug.com and amazon.com, but still no luck. really frustrating that both video and slideshows don't work, when they did work fine with FF2.x + Adblock+. -- and even if I managed to find the right exceptions to make it work, my viewers would presumably all have to do the same, which isn't exactly a desirable solution.

Hello folks..

I'm having the same problem with Firefox giving me a total black screen when I hit the my "slideshow" buttons... Works fine in I.E.

I have latest version of Java installed and do not have the Adblock extension at all.. or any other plugins for that matter..

Any suggestions?

Any suggestions? I believe this is a known bug, introduced last night. It's happening to me too. I think they are working on a fix.

I see that this is an old thread but I can't get the slideshow to work in Firefox either. Clicking the slideshow icon does nothing. I don't have adblocker or any other addons. It works fine using Safari. Here's a link.

Like Jfriend says, go here http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and reinstall flash. Let us know.
