Hi dgrinners!

Long time - not post!

Just had a shoot with a friend who is due in about 4 weeks.

Let me know what you think. Is there anything else I can do to make them 'pop' more?

And yes... I know the horizon is crooked in some .... I have A LOT to learn still! :)

Hi I see typical problems here with back-lit subjects, the subject is in shadow (I have lots of these) and begs for fill flash. Exposure is off-blown highlights. These are the most egregarious issues. I have reworked a few of these in PS - lab steepening, back to rgb for slight S curves adj., sl shadow-highlights filter, then boosting color sat via layer mask( masking her face since it greated abnormal color there), flatten, create new duplicate layer and do hi-pass sharpening(small radius here) and put in overlay mode and adj slider tell they look right, flatten and a slight burn of edges-----Fast and dirty PS work only a couple min each.

I have lots of shots like this because I'm freq. taking pics not being a photographer-its hard esp in this type of light ---Hope I'm not too critical- my wife says its a family trait(my family not hers):dunno:dunno:dunno

here they are:

I like the 'Buddha' pose and the two where you have the subject looking towards the ocean.///Mereimage

Wow. That would take me about 5 days to do!

I do see the difference though. Thanks. :)
