Appearance Button Stuck on Smugmug?

I have only one gallery. You reach it by clicking the "senior gallery" tab and it automatically takes you to the "slideshow" of that gallery.

Problems:

1. I accidently changed the setting under "Customize Gallery" labeled "Appearance" to Smugmug and then saved this setting. This removed all my customizations (No photorank showing on a hover, whitebackground, no smugmug label in upperleft corner, etc, etc.). When I go back to "Customize Gallery and click the "Custom" radio button under appearance and save, nothing changes. It still keeps the smugmug appearance. How do I get all my customizations to return? Delete the gallery and recreate it?

2. When you click the "senior gallery" tab on my homepage it automatically takes you to the slideshow of this gallery. However the background color is black. Is there anyway to make it show the back ground color of the slideshow is white or some other color for that matter?

#3 When clicking on "Senior Gallery" it goes to a slideshow just like I want (except for the black background) but I would like it to default to the speed fast instead of medium. Possible?
