Taken near the window with 'available' light...

It's beautiful! did you add grain? or was that how it came out..I'd be interested to know. :clap :clap :clap :clap

Your critique...Hi Yuri,

The contrasty B&W and his intense facial expression combine to make a very striking portrait. I don't know if it was the exposure or your post processing, but it looks like his extreme right side is just slighty blown out around the cheek and beard. Very nice! :thumb

BTW, I looked at your profile and it seems that you and I were born only 10 days apart. My birthday is March 19th. Yup, 1956 was a very good year!

Wow, absolutely wonderful! I love how the left eye still remains lit eventhough that side of his face remains in shadows. Very impressive shot! :thumb

Yes, original photo has 'right' histogram, I worked a lot with this photo in PS.

Spectacular photo. The left eye is almost spooky, but its what really makes this photo pop. I assume this was done in post. The focus is tack sharp. :thumb
