When I signed on the SmugMug for hosting, I was lead to believe that it would be easy to build your website. I'm really wasn't looking for anything fancy just something clean and crisp. So I've really being trying to read the forums from Digital Grin, SmugMug Help and Texas Photo Forum. I think I'm just overwhelmed.
I've did all the work myself and accidently deleted my homepage picture today. But I know how to fix that... have to wait until I get home.
Here's where I am. I think I figured out how to connect my Guestbook and my Bio (just need to add photo) to link from the toolbar.
Need Help:
1) Connecting my galleries to the toolbar link?
2) I need to know what code I use to display a single photo where my bio info is on the front page.
BTW - I don't know anything about progamming so I need soft hands and baby steps.

Do you want to remove the galleries from your home page too? Or do you just want to add the navbar link?
Take a look at this tutorial - http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/2160039. The sections titled "The Galleries" will show you how to add the navbar entries and how to put the galleries on a separate page.

Yes, I know I've read throught that link several times. They are very helpful and have gotten where I'm today. I think I'm so scared to delete anything because...I promise... I won't know how to get back to it. The code is a bunch of garbble coding that means nothing to me. Thanks for the words of encouragement! MAN OH MAN!

I promised I followed every step, copied/pasted and it didn't work. I just brought up a blank page. Let me think about this on my way home from work and I'll check back in over the weekend.
Again, it's one of those situations that you don't know what you're doing to know what you're adding.

Your galleries navbar entry looks fine, but I just looked at your CSS, and you don't have any of the code for the galleries page there. You probably did this, but just in case... make sure to scroll down and click the Update button on the bottom of your customize page.

Denise, I'm back in the saddle. Yes, I added all the code and the galleries did disappear from the home page but they didn't display when you clicked on the the tool bar...

It is because you have a category named Galleries and it interferes with the
galleries hack. Delete the category and it will work.
