So I just got off the phone with a photographer from my hometown (Newport OR). They saw some of my work and want to hire me for a weekend shoot! I am going to be in Newport photographing 12 soccer and 18 baseball teams in one day :thumb

I just wanted to thank the community for keeping me aspired to shoot :lust

That many teams......Congratulations!

Amazingly enough.. I am extatic about it! Call me wierd, but it is my first REAL gig. Plus I like kids, so it should be amusing.. I even get my own "crew"

BC that's fantastic! Way to go, your hard work is paying off and people are noticing. That's the best compliment you can get!

I'm also glad to see a fellow 300D shooter doing so well; gives me something to shoot for! Congrats! :clap

How are they paying, if I may be so bold - hourly or percentage or do you get to keep your sales??

I knew someone would ask me that... I have no idea.. I was excited I just said yes... really I don't care, I would do it for free... but don't tell them that! :D

I will post an update afterwards..
