Pics taken with Lumix FZ10. Thanks for lookin'.Great photos! I love the richness of the color. One of my favorite photos is a dragonfly shot from Longwood Gardens near Philadelphia.

I thought I was so lucky that the dragonfly stayed still long enough for me to capture this shot, but it was still in the same place 20-30 minutes later. It must have been asleep. :):

Hey Kerwin,

Excellent shots. The expsoure on the ibis shot was perfect. :thumb I am more and more impressed with the Lumix FZ's every time I'm seeing pictures posted from them.

Kirwin - these are all very nice. Thanks for the walking tour. Love the GBH shot. The dragonfly pic is a nice capture - is it me or is that one a little on the warm side?

Hey Ben,

I love that shot too... even though it's a little OOF. Decided to keep it until I get a better shot of an egret stretching like that again:huh :lol Glad you enjoyed the picci's!

Hi Ric,

I'm very fortunate to have a place with such diversity. He caught me stealing a "snap" of him before flying away. You wouldn't believe the size of this woodpecker... it flew like a football with wings! The northern versions that I was accustomed to in Indiana were never that large. I'm glad you enjoyed!

Thanks Harry,

The cam can be persnickety at times, but when everything falls into place... it can produce some fine images. If your looking for a compact travel cam, give the FZ5 a try. When I picked up my cam from service at Ritz, I had a moment to "play" with one. The FZ5 was half the size of my cam... and the focus lock was literally instantaneous! :jawdrop

Thanks Phil! Nope your right... the shot isn't really that great, other than the fact it was extremely difficult to capture with this type of digicam. The image appeared a little drab... so I saturated the pic. Also did unsharp mask to help with the OOF. Excellent observation and appreciate your honest evaluation on the image! Glad you joined me on the journey!:D
