After being astounded by all the beautiful photos in this thread, I gifted myself with a sigma 105 mm (next giftie will be extension tubes). Then I found these very thoughtful dragonflies who were sunning themselves on the spruce trees.... They are also really big, about 10 cm wing span

and then on a cement wall...(I was having some problems with the white/brightness, I cropped a significant chunk)

You#d better be careful- macro can be very addictive .

Hi Angela, that first Dragon blends in quite well with his surroundings.
You wont regret getting Ext. tubes, they really do come in handy :nod
