Whoa, partner. You reeled me right in with this one. Great job here, Craig. I was out on the Suwannee River today and the water was just as the water in your picture looks....pitch black.

Hi Craig,
No, getting onto the Suwannee was a last-minute thing and I slap forgot the camera. We were on the water around White Springs, FL. The river was really swollen and flowing as FAST as I've ever seen it. I watched two guys in a canoe trying to paddle against the flow. In about ten minutes of furious paddleing, they had gone about 50 yards. I offered to pull them to where they were headed. They passed on the offer....I think they were actually having fun.

Its a very nice scene Craig. Well shot. Generally speaking, and this is
just me, the image is perhaps a wee bit too dark over all. Probably just
this laptop not picking as much pop as there actually is. :D Michael

Howdy Tom,
Hope You and Your are safe and out of Harm's Way.
This time of year is always a little spooky what Mother Nature has in store for us.
Stay Safe and Dry.

Howdy Michael,
Thanks very much for your reply and thoughts, this one was kind of delicate to get a lot out of with the wide swing in lighting.

We were in Tetonia a couple of years ago, what a neat view of the Tetons from my Wife's Cousin's place, would love to get back out there to see the rest of the State.

Tetonia... :roflI confess I hadn't heard that one before. But then I
don't get out that way too often. Maybe its time as the fall color will be coming on soon. Perhaps we'll get a chance before the snow flies.
You must have made Yellowstone last you were in the Teton area.

Howdy Michael,
It was really pretty there, it was kind of away from any large town, but the highlight was having the Teton view from the Westside, instead of the normal view of it. All her windows had a beautiful view of the Mountains, especially at Sunset would light them up with a red glow.
We did make it to Yellowstone, and the Tetons. I have to say both my Wife and I really were taken with the Tetons, even more so than Yellowstone. That's not to say that Yellowstone wasn't amazing, but we seemed to always be stunned with the natural beauty of the The Tetons.

Howdy Michael,
Sound like a "R O A D T R I P" to me:D:D:D
I really love that part of the Country, but as my Wife will tell you, I say that about the World<G>.
Look forward to seeing some of the shots from your travels.
I looked up where you live and Tetonia isn't that far away, we also went to an area up a little farther North that had a beautiful waterfall. The Aspens were just starting to turn the most beautiful shades.
Take care,
Criag

Craig,
A road trip would be nice this fall. Wonder if I can make that happen. :D
Hmmm nice waterfall north of unknown town in Eastern Idaho.
If I had it to guess, I'd say upper and lower Mesa Falls on the Henry's Fork
of the Snake. The upper falls being the excellent one.
Very pretty in through there.
Theres a fire going on in the southern reaches of the Sawtooth Range
right now. Anything downwind is pretty smoky just now. Theres a
bunch of folks hoping that fire gets out soon. !!!!!

Howdy Michael,
Right you are, I had to go back and look, I got lazy post processing the images from the end of the trip.
But here's a few from that place

It would sure be worth your while to check this place out, it was really beautiful.
Hopefully the fires won't destroy too much land or anyone's homes. This seems to be all to often and occurrence.

Craig,
Thanks for sharing these images of yours. :thumb Last time I was there, and its
been quite awhile now, the place was no where near as "fixed" up nice
like they have it now. Looks like they have all the cool assets now.
Any pictures I have of the falls are on film. No scanner just now. :cry
So I need to get back up there. See how the place has changed and
get some pics.
For all the traveling we've done this year I have only processed a handful.
Same thing happened last year. :scratch
I don't know that it is being lazy or just the fact that I have nearly
come to dread doing the deep edit & PP.
