I uploaded a video to a gallery and cannot find it.
Do I need to wait until it completely renders before I can see where it will placed in the gallery?

I want it to be the first thumbnail in the gallery but cannot seem to find any info like when I upload a photo it has a place holder saying "Processing Image".

****UPDATE****

My video was too long...so it is not going to be viewable. Just curious, if my video is under the 512MB size limit why does it matter what length it is?
I spent half the day getting this thing under 512MB and find out it still will not be accepted :(

That's been a question of considerable debate - if you do a search you'll probably find a number of threads dedicated to the question of time vs. file size limits and you'll probably find some SM employees explaining why they have a time limit.

At first I had a hard time understanding the reasoning behind the limit. The more I work with the videos here the better I understand why they exist. Part of it is the processing power. We have to weigh the technical limits like file sizes and processing time against things like time.

Most users have no idea what 2.5 to 10 minutes of video look like in terms of MB's. For them a time limit is more familiar. At the same time, I see people using HD cameras generating massive MB short videos, preforming no editing and uploading straight to SmugMug. Those videos really need a little bit of compression. When done properly, there is very little quality loss.

The advantage is that you can make the file smaller which speeds up uploading, and also processing time.

We will most likely increase the limits eventually. We know you want it and I would like to see it as well.
