One from the air show

The air show was on the beach, planes were flying east to west, we were facing directly south into the sun and the sun came out in all its glory, the first time for weeks, it was not an ideal photographic situation. Here one of the better ones.

Royal Navy Sea Vixen, the only flying Sea Vixen in the world. The pilots was 70 year of age and this was his last show before he retires.

Nice shots, Tim. Glad you had a good day, even if it made for tough shooting conditions. I love that Sea Vixen! I didn't know there was still one flying. I got to see the Red Arrows on their North American tour a couple of months ago - what an outstanding performance!

I really like the Red Arrows shot. I like the nice contrast provided by the blue smoke.
