I just got an email from the Kodak editors saying they picked this shot of mine for a picture of the day!

They will put it up on Mother's Day, May 8th. I'm really excited to surprise her with it, so I'm scheming to get the family to Times Square. It's going to be SO HARD not to let it slip considering I'm practically bouncing off the walls! :lol3

Way before you lured me to the dark side with the Rebel. :wink I couldn't have gotten this shot without the 10x zoom on the S1...not until I go get a nice 300mm for the Rebel, that is! It just occurred to me that we will have DGrin KPOTD's on consecutive sundays - that's pretty cool!

As for my special ops assignment, phase one is complete and we will be in NJ for the weekend. She's none the wiser yet, and now all we have to do is get her to Manhattan...
