Thanks to all for your nice comments. It doesn't take much to flush out all of us old geezers in this crowd, does it?

Hey Michael,

Spending some time in the park is not a bad thing. It shouldn't just be the providence of us older troops. The younger crowd would be well advised to drop by occasionally.....slow down a bit and enjoy the roses, and take some of the stress out of their lives. I think my wife would, however, say I take this park thing way too seriously.

Howdy Tom,

Neat find and capture, really love of the vivid colors.............Man<G>

This one reminds me of traveling through Germany in the early 70's with about 6 guys I was stationed with, it seemed to always be full of people, plastic cases with beer bottles in them, and cases of Black Cat Wine<G>.

Ah, those were the days, I don't know if I could live through them again, though:wink:wink:wink

Is that "Lichterfeld"? Glad you brought this back up. I missed what

want to try that again either. Dark beer yes. :D Augsburg 75' - 78'

Yeah, I guess it would be "Lichterfeld" where the old SS Barracks were. My favorite eatery at the time was Pizzaria Amalfie on Lichterfeld Strasse.

I, for one, had a Great time during my USAR time spent there! (287th MP)
