this is one of my new favorite bands. they're called the blue scene and they hail from sayville, ny. they put on an awesome show and play very upbeat "beach boysish" retro music. this show was at the tribeca rock club in downtown nyc. i will be shooting these guys again on may 7th at the knitting factory. you can check out the band at thebluescene.com (http://www.thebluescene.com) or purevolume.com/thebluescene (http://www.purevolume.com/thebluescene)

these are just a few of my pictures from that night, shot with my digital rebel and my new tamron 28-75 f2.8 (i'm super happy with it), please tell me what you think:

yet to use your flash? is that a joke? i looked through some of your threads, saw that most of your pics are outside, that would probably explain it.

if you shoot local bands like i do, you often have to use flash because a lot of venues don't have any lighting at all so it's required.

i'm sure you have more pics than that. correct me if i'm wrong, but you take almost all of your pictures outside or other well lighted situations. btw, your work is really great.

back to the subject. . .
any more comments on the pics?
