The image doesn't POP, I think you could bring out more in that boat.
For a first attempt it's very good :clap .... Skippy :D

I love the composition/concept....seems to be a bit noisy?... was this a High ISO for the shot sequence?

Yep...thought it may have been a little high. High ISO's will not give you the detail you are after in shots such as this. A static, landscape type shot such as this can be gotten away with on a very low ISO...100 or lower. With an ISO of 400, you're telling the camera there may be some slight subject movement and/or a semi-low light situation....none of which exist in this image. To darken/lighten the image and maintain detail (pixelation) try exposure compensation (+/-) instead of higher ISOs. Hope this helps!:thumb
