i hope i don't mess this up or something
walking around campus-taking a break from studying-came across these guys.. they were huge--for sticking my hands so close to them at least..
if this doesn't work, please help! it'd be greatly appreciated ;)

Great shot, let me be the first to welcome you to Dgrin! I know what you mean about getting close, I was shooting a spider this morning. Couldn't get the camera to hold still long enough. I look forward to more of your posts.
hoping this message finds you well -Ian

Now this is something I like...
Great contrast and frozen action..
These things aren't designed to fly and you can see why !!

Great shot.:thumb
Have you tried cropping out the left side some? It distracts a little.

Very cool capture with lots of detail and frozen action :clap I agree that cropping out a bit on the left-maybe a third and a bit from the bottom might make the subject a bit more prominent.:dunno

Great shot and nice chrisp colors. I'm relatively new to the forum also, but it gets easy very quickly and it's a great place to get good feedback. - Stan
