Air And Sea Show is coming to town this weekend. I always try to get out there and either see the arrival of the Navy Ships or to see them off. This year things changed. The jetty we normally watch from is closed off to the public as well as that part of the park so you have to sit a mile away from the jetty.

Then It Happened. The Department Of Homeland Security Believed Me To Be A Threat. Little Ole Me. They Asked Me In The Most Polite Way To Leave The Area And To Not Return. Who Am I To Argue.

I always wondered about the sanity of the guys that stand right on the deck of a haulin' a** submarine. Seems pretty easy to be washed away, no? I'm sure the weight of that sub would boggle the mind. It's probably rock-steady when cruising like that! If it were me, I'd volunteer to be on-deck when the sub surfaced like that. Must be awe-inspiring!
