Some shots of darter dragonflies from the garden not sitting on a cane. First two are of a male- last 4 a female. All natural light shots.

good shots Brian,they do look better in natural light.
thats an echium leaf its sitting on.

First 2 shots are on a dead echium leaf- well spotted- last 4 are on a lace hydrangea leaf (also very hairy)

I like the last one the best, the DOF trick because of the angle of the wings gives it a very interesting look.

The little lady in the last two shots looks a little on the bashful side,
what a cute face.:lust

I like the first two best-mostly because of the shape of the dead echium leaf.
