This fella was curious at the barrel of my lens. Shot last year at London Aquarium.

Can you tell me how you shot this? I am taking my son to an aquarium this weekend and I would like to try and get some good pics.

Thanks guys. Lionfish never smiles, they're just waiting to pounce on small fishes!

I was lucky that the aquarium housing this fish is brightly lit, but still I needed to find the right angle to get the 'correct' light. I used ISO 1600 to get a fast shutter speed to freeze the fish. You may need to use large aperture to not capture the glass. But the main thing is light inside the aquarium, flash is of no use.

You pulled off a real nice shot here. :D
Looks like some of the lighting was a challange.
