Map half gray

I've been messing with the mapping feature for a couple hours now trying to get the map to fill out it's entire div and center, but all I can get it to do is show me half the width as a map, and the other half as gray emptiness. It doesn't center on the map points either.

In the interim, I've just made it square to hide the gray but that's really a pretty crappy fix. Anyone else have this problem?
