Primary/Pastel Opinions Please

Hi all,

I'm new to the forums, and pretty new to photography. I've been reading for a couple of weeks. I would love your opinions on this. You can definitely tell me if you think it's not good enough to enter. How else will I learn, right? :D

It's actually pretty good. Some notes, make sure you utilize the full potential of 800 pixel width (it just looks better bigger). And also I might (repeat might) play around with some slight sharpening and saturation.

Nice shot. Agree PyroPrints. Also note that flowers or shapes which have the tops, bottoms or sides like that look like it was done by mistake. Radically cropping is very different though.

Either include the whole flower head or crop intentionally. Good luck.
