Great bridge shots, Andy. Here is a bridge on the other end of the size spectrum:

Great shots, Andy...... And Rutt..... I am sure you know I have this thing about wooden bridges. I just can't help but include a few of my own images.
First Jackson bridge - older than the Brooklyn bridge and carries traffic every day - sorry about the snow - I have not gotten up there for a spring pic yet.....

And then the Sim Smith bridge that is is closer in age to the Brooklyn bridge and still carrying traffic too.....This was one of my first shots in RAW

Some nice shots, gents. Covered bridges seem to be infectious, lots of folks have the fever!

Hey Andy, looking at your first shot, I'm reminded of the postcards that are colorised. The end product has slightly odd looking, pastel-like colors, slightly washed out. Do you have any suggestions about trying to replicate that look?

pathfinder,

Everytime I see those shots, I am reminded of a childhood vacation to
Oregon. I grabbed a couple of books and I think I might actually get up
that way this summer on the bike.

Waxy, Nice observation about the pastel coloration - I would be interested in Andy's answer too. Maybe a mild posterization filter?

Andy, gorgeous shots as usual! And you want to know how I always remember what order they go in (south to north)???

I've always gotten a kick out of that - my favorite bridges, my favorite logo :D

Who says it's the shortest covered bridge in the U.S.? The sign next to the bridge says so:
