This is an "18x" CF card -- 2.7MB/sec write speed.
(I routinely use "8x" cards in my EOS 20D and never have to wait on writes to the card, so 18x should work well for most applications)

You may be right. I have one of these little guys (PQI)and I used it in my 828. It worked so well, I hardly ever used the MS Pro I had in the other memory slot :thumb
