This is a crop from an advertising flag outside a shop. The spray comes from the rain.

Nice b&w conversion and textures. I'd give a lower grade for creativity, but I do realize that it is the final image that counts and I do like this one.

I love it, actually. The water droplets are perfect for her silhouette. :thumb
I also love the square crop and the dark vignette. The only problem I have with this is the top part of the letters are cut off!
Without showing weather, lighting, or environment I this image says to me: quiet, wet urban afternoon. (Whether or not it really was :D ) I think this shot would be a great addition to a street photography portfolio.

Schmoo, you are spot on with the guess of the weather and
environment. I'm surprised that it comes through in the image.
I decided to cut off the text a bit to get the square and tight
enough crop of the graphic.
Thanks for your comments!

Nice, I like it. The droplets add to the theme of the poster; nice illustration and photo crossover (putting your pic in my inspiration folder...). I like the vignetting.
It needs a little more contrast though. If you lighten up the lighter part, the whole thing will look better IMO. Cropping a logo wouldn't be my choice either if this was a commercial photo. Companies don't like their logos to be cut to pieces... I'm also curious for a colour version.

Great!!!
Everything about it is great IMO!
The water drops appear to be part of the original sign. I love the square crop. And I like that you cropped part of "cola" which helps to recenter the image to the figure's face and the bottle.
Very nice :thumb

I am not shure if lighting up the middle does the subject right. Anyhow
here are the original, a brighter and a color version of the image side by side:

Hi Manfr3d, I agree with Jeroen about more contrast. Leads me to think even embossed a tiddly tad.
It suggests urban meditation, there is something of a zen garden quality in it.
I would have liked to have seen some movement in the raindrops, some streaking the sign (indeed like the classic condensation on the cold product itself - a nice additional self-reference/reflection), again like a Japanese garden will have dynamic elements that connect the places of rest. For me it is too static, lacks the interest of vitality.
