Here is a picture of my daughter in her playroom. I wanted to know if everyone thought it looked sharp? (this is with my Canon) if anyone could please make her eyes a little better? I want to see what can be done to them.

Changed the luminosity in the eyes (to increase glint in eye) and enlarged the pupils by 120%. Also used color dodging with eyes so that they didn't get too light.
A seperate layer of the background was greater using Fluid Mask (or you could use the pen tool). I found the background way to distracting so I used a Guassian Blur value of 4 (anymore and I found it to be to unnatural).
Overlay masked diffusion was created on a seperate layer to smooth out the skin (very slighty) and great a bit more of a bleached look.
Conversion was then made to LAB colormode were the A and B channel levels were compressed slightly to increase saturation a slight bit. They a value of 5 was added to unsharpen mask on the Lightness channel (still in LAB mode). This was more to add some grain rather than sharpen the image.
Lastly, I cropped the output image so that the subject was not dead-center. There are various possibilities, however, this was the one that I chose.

Looks good. The only thing I would change is the white balance of the photo (if in raw). It seems a little cold. Or try to emulate a gold reflector in PS to warm up the photo. Other than that, it looks fine.
