hi all. very new to smugmug.

what i'm trying to do sounds simple, but after scouring the user options and FAQs for hours, i've decided i must be missing something.

i want 1 main gallery, that is password protected, that houses all other galleries (organized by event/subject/location) i want my users to enter 1 password at the main screen, and have access to the galleries beneath it.

i've messed with the categories / subcategories and created a couple galleries, but i cannot for the life of me, figure out how to do this :huh

any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Why not use sharegroups or set a site password? A site password would make someone enter a password once to see any part of the site; then, they'd have access to browse all public galleries, etc..

Welcome to Dgrin :wave

If ALL your galleries are behind the password why not just put a password
on your whole site. Once entered they can browse anywhere on your site
and allow you to have many categories.
