Hello all, I just wanted to post a quick message to ask for some feedback. I have create a new gallery of what i consider my best images. I was wondering if everyone might not mind going and checking it out and letting me know what they think about my selection of images. Here is the link

I am still using my smugmug site, but I just felt like it was getting too big. I know there are alot of new people since I was a regular around here and here is the link to my smugmug site for those who dont know any of my stuff.

For those that do remember some could you just let me know if there is something you would like to see in the new gallery that isnt there that you would have liked to see.
Sorry about posting this in the cool shots section.. I couldnt figure a better place to put it since my shots span so many different types of photography. I guess I could justify it as well by asking what you might think are the coolest shots :rofl . Thanks everyone. I really need to get back into here. I miss it alot.

Mike - don't know if this helps or not, but here are my favorites from your "favorites" gallery:

This one puts the question in my mind of "where did the guy go?"

Mike,
First off, it's good to hear from you :clap Knowing where you were at last time I saw a post from you, I was a bit worried. Good to read that you're safe and sound :thumb
I looked at both galleries and IMO, the pbase galleries look more artistic. The Smugmug galleries look like a display of personal pics that have much more meaning to you, your friends and your family than to a viewer.
Some nice shots on both galleries, BTW :clap

Thanks Steve and Phil. I appreciate your input. I guess I need to go back and relook the gallery though if only two people out of 54 who viewed this thread decided to respond:dunno . Maybe I got something wrong. Thanks though to you two.

I like your favorites gallery. The photos from Iraq are beautiful and stunning. I don't know why so few responed. I think it's because you did such a good job and there was nothing more to say. Awesome... keep it up.

I think you've got a good sense of what your best pictures are...some of the Iraq pictures are stunning. I particularly liked "Visor" and "Rolls of Razor Wire"

Hi Mike,
Good to see you back.
I think you did a really good job of selecting your favorites. Personally, there were a couple I liked that weren't included, but I think it's important to keep the selection small and refined. Just the way it is now.:thumb
I have seen a couple of smugmug and pbase sites recently that are, I guess you would say spartan, and I realized that I liked that look. I guess it resembles a portfolio. A collection of your best.
My two cents is to not let this be another site with a zillion photos. A few photos can have a great impact. Your's did!
Regards,
Brad
