I am potentially looking to change webhosts for my domain name. I don't host much on the site, but I do use my domain name for my email address. I dislike the IMAP limitations and webmail offered by my current host. It is very clunky and a pain to use.
I am looking at
Dreamhost (http://dreamhost.com/hosting.html), They offer gmail for your domain email. That sounds good to me. I have been using gmail for other email accounts and have been happy with it. I have the option of not using gmail as well.
Bluehost (http://www.bluehost.com/tell_me_more.html), seems reliable and inexpensive.
Any opinions on these two webhosts or some others offering similar services?

None, but I'm using Go Daddy and I'm very annoyed that they only offer POP mail. Lemme know what you find out. :thumb

I'll let you know, hopefully someone uses one of these services, but I like Dreamhost with gmail, that should be a good solution to use on an iphone. :D

I have used Dreamhost. They are really good!
Their customer service people respond really fast. I had to cancel because I couldn't afford dreamhost AND smugmug. That isn't to say that Dreamhost is really expensive, they are pretty decently priced. Just that I do not earn enough to support both sites and bills at the same time.

I use Bluehost for about 25 domains, including 5 with e-mail and 5 with websites. I've always been happy with them.

i've been using hostgator (http://www.hostgator.com) now for a couple of years and have been pretty happy with their service. virtually no downtime and good technical support staff. i used to work in the webhosting industry for one of the largest webhosts and can say by comparison, hostgator has their stuff together.

If you just use your domain for mail and you like gmail, Google offers a free domain hosted e-mail service running on gmail:
