Border around photos

I want to add a fixed border around my slideshow. I know I will need to make sure all of the photos are the same size (which they are not right now). I want a fixed border that is square on my investment, portrait pricing page. I don't know how to do this, but I have seen it done on lots of other pages. I know I have the border thickness around the photo, but the corners are rounded and I do not like it. I want square corners and so I figured if I put a fixed border around it and make all of my pics the same size, then I will be able to have what I want.
