It was so bright out today, I didn't think it would come out...
Sure was hot out on that field-turf drabbed in moto-gear. I don't see how those football players do it...:dunno But then again, I'm not 17 anymore.:rolleyes

Oh yea, very cool. Love that wide angle and the DEEP DOF it provides. Very nice and sharp. Nice job.

you could try shooting with a uv haze, or a polarizing lens filter...If you aren't already.
just a thought:dunno

just a thought:dunno :rofl Funny that you should mention that! I anticipate a delivery tomorrow by UPS from B&H that contains a circular polarizer and a N.D. 3.0 filter...
I can't wait:clap

I like the shot but wondered about the perspective of the towers. I did a crop inPS correcting the distortion to see how it looked. I vote for your version after all. Losing any of the field of view diminished the image. BTW - I'm assuming the angle of the towers is in fact distortion.

Gary

Once I become more adept at photoshop manipulation, this is one of those pics I might come back to and straighten those light towers, just to see if it improves the image.
BTW, thanks for all the input!

Thought you might like to see this, hope you don't mind. When you crop in PS You check the perspective box and align the sides of the box parallel to the distortion. Sometimes you will need to stretch the sides below the actual bottom of the image for this to work. Someone on another forum (STF on dpreview) was nice enough to explain this to me in response to an image I posted. It is great to be able to pass this along.

Gary
