I was hoping for May 1, to try out my next two jobs with the ARC 3.0, but I might have to use what I have.

Thanks for posting the date. :thumb

I'm REALLY excited for the improved RAW converter....

Would you mind reviewing the software for a bit if you receive it?

Cheers!

Me too. Not that much of a converter, but most of the features (e.g. 16-bit processing:-)

I'm not sure I'll be the first to receive it, but when I do, I'll post my feedback..

There are reports that users have started receiving copies. I wonder how soon they will be readily available.

There is a thread, here (http://www.robgalbraith.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=330964&an=0&page=0#330964), at Robgalbraith where the user states that it was ordered on Wednesday and they already received it. It was ordered via Adobe online.

As I promised.. First 30 min of playing with CS2..

NICE!

It seems faster (on my 3.5GHz Dell XPS at least). Adobe Bridge is nicer than file Browser. I like the new tools, they seem to be handy in doing some tasks simpler. I think I will enjoy enhanced scripting.

At this point I'm just happy:clap . Sorry for being not too informative..
Hopefully more to follow

Thanks for the heads-up, Nikolai.I played with Vanishing Point Tool today.
Seems like a very powerfull tool, but it would take some time to master.
For what its worth I didn't got a "feeling" fot it yet. But I liked the sideeffect on "painting" on the planes with the clone stamp.
You're definitely can achieve the same effect with mutiple layers and a free transform tool, but this one brings a fresh interesting approach.
One thing I found: as with other SuperPower tools (Liquify, etc.) it is too easy to loose one's wrok but hitting Esc. No confirmation, no nothing - it's gone.
However, you can close it with OK and next time you'll call it will remember all your planes. So I think it's wise to close it from time to time (why or why there is no Apply button or at least a confirmation dialog? Oh well, they need to get something in CS3..:-)
