Ospreys are not my friends right now

Could you please note that the fish the male caught, but I could not photograph is inside the female. Her whole body is shaped like one of those flounder or whatever they are. Naturally it is a butt shot, the birds hate me. They wait til they think I am gone to fly. If they happen to fly when I am there, they fly away from me.

What am I doing wrong. One bird sits on the nest, the other bird sits on another pole waiting for me to leave..........I was there for hours, so I am sure of this. This is a picture of the bird waiting. If he has a photo of me, I am not aware of it.

I know the feeling Ginger. I figure birds just have a natural animosity towards photographers and do whatever they can to make our lives miserable. There have been a few times when I wished I had a shotgun in my hands instead of a camera.

The second shot is pretty good so your day wasn't a waste. :thumb
