..and a rogue on the right by way of the glass ;o). Although the nectar
contained within was the 15yr old Dalwhinnie (it was NOT transferred back to the bottle :o))

You been drinking it for 15 years and you still got half a bottle left ??
how come :rofl
I fail to appreciate the taste of these coverted Drinks, because I'm a tea drinker myself...... forgive me :D
Though the candles appear to be slightly blown out, I like the atmosphere created by the light .... nice shot :thumb ... Skippy :D

Excellent shot and love the warm colours. BUT why put a Dalwhinnie drink in a Jack Daniels glass. When I was at the Dalwhinnie distillery near Pitlochry my wife bought me the glasses and water jug to go with it. Having said that you should never put water in a good malt just another malt. Anyhow, enjoy it.

Bob

Heheh, I knew someone would ask :)
I'm afraid it is the only "whisky" glass I have at the moment. I supposed I should purchase some new ones :)
Thanks for the compliments all :)

I was fortunate to have a taste of the Dalwhinnie on a trip to UK in 2005. Here's a tiny contribution to this thread.
Nice photo, IP!

Check out Lagavulin Arvan. Very smokey, very peaty.. very nice.. and it works absolutely amazingly with dark chocolate (80% cocoa) - Try it :)
I'd like to get to the Dalwhinnie distillary. Have been to the Oban one which was really good.
I have been to the JD one in Lynchburg as well a couple of times :)

Nice shot.
Lagavulin is like a cognac compared to Laphroaig, which indeed is smoke in a bottle. I love 'em both. :beer
