My lass has joined a wildlife thingy (through a suggestion via the school) and has to try to find wildlife in our area on the list.

Lucky drop on the first one: Cinnebar moths.

Well, they are still caterpillars yet.

good find paul, they look dificult to get exposure right on yellow flowers.
i spotted a couple other day while walking the dog. will be going back with camera soon.

I held back on the brightness to stop the yellows getting overbright.

Yellow sure is the favourite colour for most bugs and insects.
It's kind of rare to see a flower with either a yellow center or yellow petals to not have some small critter around them.

Nice find Paul, your first shot almost looks like a mirror image behind it.

The plant Ragwort gros in abundance, but the caterpillars can strip each plant very easily.
