I want to have just a single image instead of a slideshow sit on my homepage. Can this be done? If so what do I need to do?

this may not be the right way to do it but carnt you make a gallery with just one photo in it and use that in the slide show
is the something in the code to turn it off..........

I can't see my bio in my customise area? I know I originally turned it off but still it must be there.

than i think it will be in control panel homepage then show bio

Your bio is on your homepage, it has the old no longer supported slideshow
in it and btw, not running here. I'd recommend you switch to the new show.

Now, I'd like to know how to keep it centered and also to be clickable to my portfolio page.

Surround the photo with the link. It already looks centered?

Yes, I figured out how to center it.
And now the link works. Perfect!
But a -sometimes purple, sometimes blue- border appeared around that image...
Please tell me how to remove it... I tried a couple of things but nothing worked.

not sure if this linked to the same entry as I was referring to :) so if not, it was in question to how to create just One picture on my home page....with links to my galleries, bio, blog, etc. Thanks!
